The valedictory ceremony was graced by His Excellency Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he applauded DCM YES for organising such a flagship event in Punjab, observing that a state once known primarily for agriculture was now witnessing its lead in technology and artificial intelligence, and that too at a formative stage itself. He also congratulated Dr. Anirudh Gupta CEO fot setting up India’s First School of Entrepreneurship ij Ludhiana which he said, will go a long way in contributing to the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat and Digital India 2047.
Earlier, the festival commenced with a grand opening ceremony presided over by Dr. Gupta, setting the tone for a day packed with innovation and creativity. Over 1,000 students* representing 50+ schools from across India competed in a wide array of events, highlighting their talent, problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
The Chief Guest, along with Guests of Honour, Dr. DR Bhatti, IPS (Former DGP, Punjab), Ludhiana Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma, SDM Poonam Preet, Dimple Tandon (District Education officer), industrialist Mridula Jain and Dr. Gupta, felicitated the winning teams for their exceptional talent and groundbreaking ideas.
Puneet Goyal, Head IT at DCM Group said that 21 events were organized across three age group categories, which included as Pitch-Up AI, Vision 3D, Junior Robo Rally, Think AR, AI Business Lens, AI Startup, Sky Bot AI, and others. As part of the program, students also showcased their own projects. He mentioned that through this event, opportunities for startups will be created for children, and it will spark their curiosity in innovation, creative thinking, and coding.
